Ahava[edit]

Thank you for your contribution citing B'tselm to this page. I have reinstated it after deletion by editor Gilabrand. I hope you can help me keep an eye on edits from this editor who seems to have some problems making contributions which accurately reflect the content of sources cited and regularly deletes material contrary to her POV. Please also see my comments on history and discussion pages re use of facebook as a source. I am sure you will also be concerned that this does not provide reliable, quality content. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Floccinauci (talkcontribs) 12:33, 17 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]

December 2010[edit]

Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, your addition of one or more external links to the page Electronic Intifada has been reverted.
Your edit here was reverted by an automated bot that attempts to remove links which are discouraged per our external links guideline from Wikipedia. The external link you added or changed is on my list of links to remove and probably shouldn't be included in Wikipedia. I removed the following link(s): http://abu-pessoptimist.blogspot.com/2010/12/het-schandaal-breidt-zich-uit.html. If the external link you inserted or changed was to a blog, forum, free web hosting service, fansite, or similar site (see 'Links to avoid', #11), then please check the information on the external site thoroughly. Note that such sites should probably not be linked to if they contain information that is in violation of the creator's copyright (see Linking to copyrighted works), or they are not written by a recognised, reliable source. Linking to sites that you are involved with is also strongly discouraged (see conflict of interest).
If you were trying to insert an external link that does comply with our policies and guidelines, then please accept my creator's apologies and feel free to undo the bot's revert. However, if the link does not comply with our policies and guidelines, but your edit included other, constructive, changes to the article, feel free to make those changes again without re-adding the link. Please read Wikipedia's external links guideline for more information, and consult my list of frequently-reverted sites. For more information about me, see my FAQ page. Thanks! --XLinkBot (talk) 10:15, 7 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Caterpillar[edit]

Anne. You have added the same content to Caterpillar Inc four times now and been reverted by three different editors. The solution to this problem is not to keep on replacing the content, but instead to discuss with the other editors (including myself) why you think this information should be included. As you can see here: Talk:Caterpillar_Inc.#Use_by_the_IDF we have already discussed whether the use by the IDF should be included. The consensus previously was to remove it entirely, but as I have said e, I believe that some mention should be included, but WP:WEIGHT must be achieved - use of Caterpillar products by the IDF is not the most important thing that the company has ever been involved with. Your content however is problematic for several reasons: the header "Violations of international law" is extremely biased and is not supported by the references. Secondly, the content is copy and pasted from the source - although it is clear that this is the case, we should be summarising sources in our own words whenever possible. Third, the reference is a primary source and we require secondary sources do show that any one took notice of the announcement. For these reasons I will be removing the content again, but hope that we can come up with something to include after discussing it on the talk page.
