Image[edit]

You seem to be trying to place an image from the internet on wikipedia. Please note that wikipedia requires GFDL compatible licenses for all images used on wikipedia with specific exceptions. If you found an image using a search engine, it would be better not to included. If you have any questions, please ask on my talk page. Also, welcome to wikipedia. i kan reed (talk) 14:52, 3 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]

I understand the image is old, but wikipedia can't break the law and use a picture taken by someone else and display it without their permission. This one appears to be unambiguously copyrighted at this website. To use the one you uploaded is stealing. The previous one is used with the permission of the picture taker. i kan reed (talk) 15:01, 3 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Unfortunately, I don't know where to find legal images. Could you help me understand why a more recent image is urgent? i kan reed (talk) 15:05, 3 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Your recent edits[edit]

Hello. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. You could also click on the signature button located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. Thank you. --SineBot (talk) 15:08, 3 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]

License tagging for File:Chinusfashion.png[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:Chinusfashion.png. You don't seem to have indicated the license status of the image. Wikipedia uses a set of image copyright tags to indicate this information.

To add a tag to the image, select the appropriate tag from this list, click on this link, then click "Edit this page" and add the tag to the image's description. If there doesn't seem to be a suitable tag, the image is probably not appropriate for use on Wikipedia. For help in choosing the correct tag, or for any other questions, leave a message on Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. Thank you for your cooperation. --ImageTaggingBot (talk) 15:05, 3 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Orphaned non-free media (File:Chinusfashion.png)[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:Chinusfashion.png. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'file' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Hazard-Bot (talk) 04:07, 10 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]

April 2013[edit]

Hello, I'm Faizan Al-Badri. I wanted to let you know that I undid one of your recent contributions, such as the one you made with this edit to File:Chinusfashion.png, because it didn’t appear constructive to me. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks, Faizan Al-Badri -Let's talk! 11:26, 11 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Wikipedia:Andrewnadar/sandbox, a page you substantially contributed to, has been nominated for deletion. Your opinions on the matter are welcome; please participate in the discussion by adding your comments at Wikipedia:Miscellany for deletion/Wikipedia:Andrewnadar/sandbox and please be sure to sign your comments with four tildes (~~~~). You are free to edit the content of Wikipedia:Andrewnadar/sandbox during the discussion but should not remove the miscellany for deletion template from the top of the page; such a removal will not end the deletion discussion.
