Kwin Jenfa moved to draftspace[edit]

An article you recently created, Kwin Jenfa, does not have enough sources and citations as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please follow the prompts on the Articles for Creation template atop the page. ... discospinster talk 22:59, 9 November 2019 (UTC)[reply]

The page File:Yemi Alade.jpg has been speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This was done under section F9 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the file appeared to be a blatant copyright infringement. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images taken from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition has been deleted. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.

If the image belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use it — which means allowing other people to use it for any reason — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. The same holds if you are not the owner but have their permission. If you are not the owner and do not have permission, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission for how you may obtain it. You might want to look at Wikipedia's copyright policy for more details, or ask a question here.

Please do not recreate the material without addressing these concerns, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Rema[edit]

Hi AndrewNatty,
Thanks for your contributions to the Rema article. I undid your edit because the source you provided is not a reliable source. It appears to be a self-published source and could be classified under WP:USERGENERATED. The website recruits random bloggers to join their "empowerment network". Wikipedia relies on info published in reliable secondary sources.  Versace1608  Wanna Talk? 19:51, 23 November 2019 (UTC)[reply]

You are accused of plagiarism[edit]

At Teahouse, you are accused of copying a draft created by Taymeedeeray and turning it into an article. David notMD (talk) 23:56, 29 November 2019 (UTC)[reply]

To clarify, if you copy from another Wikipedia page you are required to provide attribution, see WP:Copying within Wikipedia. --David Biddulph (talk) 07:22, 30 November 2019 (UTC)[reply]
This was more than just copying part of an existing article. AndrewNatty appears to have copied the entirety of an editor's draft article and then created an article with the same name as the draft. David notMD (talk) 13:50, 1 December 2019 (UTC)[reply]
Hi AndrewNatty. As David Biddulph has said, if you copy content between Wikipedia articles, you are required to provide attribution; if not, you are committing a copyright violation. I have done that for you here and here. While I have fixed the copyright attribution issue for you, copying a user's draft wholesale and using it to create an article without contacting the author is pretty bad form and not really in the collaborative spirit of Wikipedia. I would advise you against doing this kind of thing again. WJ94 (talk) 16:03, 1 December 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Nomination of Symply Tacha for deletion[edit]

A discussion is taking place as to whether the article Symply Tacha is suitable for inclusion in Wikipedia according to Wikipedia's policies and guidelines or whether it should be deleted.

The article will be discussed at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Symply Tacha until a consensus is reached, and anyone, including you, is welcome to contribute to the discussion. The nomination will explain the policies and guidelines which are of concern. The discussion focuses on high-quality evidence and our policies and guidelines.

Users may edit the article during the discussion, including to improve the article to address concerns raised in the discussion. However, do not remove the article-for-deletion notice from the top of the article.  Versace1608  Wanna Talk? 14:30, 1 December 2019 (UTC)[reply]

@AndrewNatty: Deleting the existing version but then replacing it by a declined AFC draft (and not putting the AFD notice into the replacement version) is not a good move. You should have allowed the AFD process to run its course, & also addressed the reasons for the AFC draft being declined and resubmitted it. --David Biddulph (talk) 08:56, 3 December 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Hi AndrewNatty. I have now restored the AfD notice at Symply Tacha; requesting deletion of the article and then moving another copy into its place does not stop the deletion discussion from taking place and might look to others like you are trying to circumvent the process improperly. I suggest you let the discussion run its course, as David Biddulph recommended. If you strongly believe the article should be kept, you are welcome to contribute to the deletion discussion. Plagiarism[edit]

Thank you for trying to move the page. The Voice Nigeria season 2 to main space. But the way it was done was very wrong. It was a copyright. It'll be good if you blank the page The Voice Nigeria (Season 2) or you put it up for speedy deletion under the CSD G7 criteria by adding {{Db-author}}Taymeedeeray (talk) 16:27, 1 December 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Hello AndrewNatty, the problem discussed above has been resolved by merging the histories of the duplicated articles. Next time, you can move a page by clicking the Move button. Just remember that when copying text within Wikipedia, we have to give attribution, see Wikipedia:Copying within Wikipedia. If you ever have any questions, come ask at the Teahouse :) – Thjarkur (talk) 21:08, 1 December 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Hi there, I'm HasteurBot. I just wanted to let you know that Draft:Kwin Jenfa, a page you created, has not been edited in 5 months. The Articles for Creation space is not an indefinite storage location for content that is not appropriate for articlespace.

If your submission is not edited soon, it could be nominated for deletion. If you would like to attempt to save it, you will need to improve it.

You may request Userfication of the content if it meets requirements.

If the deletion has already occured, instructions on how you may be able to retrieve it are available at WP:REFUND/G13.

Thank you for your attention. HasteurBot (talk) 01:32, 11 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]
