Hello, Alexandet, and welcome to Wikipedia! My name is Ian and I work with the Wiki Education Foundation; I help support students who are editing as part of a class assignment.

I hope you enjoy editing here. If you haven't already done so, please check out the student training library, which introduces you to editing and Wikipedia's core principles. You may also want to check out the Teahouse, a community of Wikipedia editors dedicated to helping new users. Below are some resources to help you get started editing.

Adding citations[edit]

Hi. When you add citations, make sure that you are using a reliable source, and not an article that mirrors Wikipedia content (like this one), or that cites Wikipedia as a source (like [http://articles.extension.org/pages/19286/goat-breeds-nubian this page does).

You need to ensure that the sources you're using are high quality. Look for things like information about the publisher. Look for peer reviewed sources, or books from major academic publishers. For more popular sources, make sure they have a reputable editorial board. Looks for sources with a history of fact-checking. Ian (Wiki Ed) (talk) 18:05, 29 January 2018 (UTC)[reply]
