Request reason:

I did not understand that you weren't supposed to link to the publisher of books. I was simply trying to update the page. If unblocked, I will not link to outside sources, I will simply list. Thank you. Ajgreene27 (talk) 16:05, 5 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Decline reason:

It's not just the links that are the problem. Yamla (talk) 13:42, 8 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

Are you associated with HarperCollins or anyone related to the subject matter you were editing about? 331dot (talk) 16:32, 5 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Request reason:

I am employed by Pete the Cat LLC and have been tasked by our legal counsel to update the Pete the Cat page.

Decline reason:

Wikipedia is not concerned with what you have been tasked to do by your company's legal counsel, boss, or other superiors. You will need to review the conflict of interest policy and the paid editing policy; compliance with the latter is a Wikipedia Terms of Use requirement and not negotiable. These will explain why it is problematic for you to edit about subjects within your conflict of interest, and it will not be permitted. If you want to edit about subjects for which you have no conflict of interest as a general, individual Wikipedia contributor, please tell what those might be, comply with the policies I have indicated, and agree to not directly edit about anything related to your conflict of interest. You may be permitted to make formal edit requests on the article talk page of Pete the Cat, but only if you intend to be a general contributor. If all you are here to do is edit about your publications or company, you will not be unblocked. I am declining your request. 331dot (talk) 20:25, 17 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]
