I've protected Athens, please stop edit warring and removing sourced content from the article and instead work it out on the article's talk page. If you continue edit warring once protection has expired, you will be blocked for disruption. Dreadstar ☥ 17:08, 15 February 2011 (UTC)

Dear Dreadstar: I for sure do not intend edit warring or vandalizing, but I thought that Wikipedia was open to everybody to make corrections on wrong or incomplete information and that the aim was to provide as high information quality as possible. Obviously this is not the case, as all my interventions to show the whole truth and to explain that the value is contested (and it is indeed - I cited several sources) were rejected. I do not understand, how you can tolerate such a disinformation and how a remark about the at least questionable unique character of the 48,0°C in Athens can be such a problem. Why does this guy, whose positions are always being contested and who has already been banned from climate forums, get such a protection ? , rgds Agitatov (talk) 23:57, 15 February 2011 (UTC)

You can discuss content with the other editors on the article's talk page, administrators tend to focus on behavior like edit warring - unless the content seriously violates one of WP's core policies like Wikipedia:Biographies of living persons.
