Hello, AG029, and welcome to Wikipedia! My name is Ian and I work with Wiki Education; I help support students who are editing as part of a class assignment.

I hope you enjoy editing here. If you haven't already done so, please check out the student training library, which introduces you to editing and Wikipedia's core principles. Edit to Clarinet[edit]

Hello AG! I noticed your edit to Clarinet in which you added a section on metronomes. Unfortunately I've reverted your edit since you provided no sources to your edit. On top of that, a section on a metronome in the article isn't really relevant due to metronomes being used in music as a whole (whether it be playing an instrument, singing, composing music, or even listening to music such as with Bang! (AJR song) which incoporates the ticking of a metronome into the music). ― Blaze WolfTalkBlaze Wolf#6545 14:10, 30 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Please slow down. Your recent edits haven't been good. The cork grease source is not reliable and is a shopping website and the source you provided with your second addition doesn't say anything like what you added. @Ian (Wiki Ed): Pinging Ian. ― Blaze WolfTalkBlaze Wolf#6545 14:31, 30 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]
@Matthewvetter and Helaine (Wiki Ed): Pining Matthew since they're listed as the instructor and the other Wiki Ed staff in this. ― Blaze WolfTalkBlaze Wolf#6545 14:35, 30 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks @Blaze Wolf for the helpful comments. Which content did you notice didn't have a source? I can help the student find some more reliable sources for the edits. Thanks! DarthVetter (talk) DarthVetter (talk) 15:48, 30 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]
@Matthewvetter: The initial addition of the metronome stuff had no source and isn't entirely relevant to the article since metronomes are used with more than just clarinets. ― Blaze WolfTalkBlaze Wolf#6545 15:52, 30 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]
AG, the information you added to the article isn't all bad, in fact I think the article could benefit from information regarding the pads and cork, however you can't add information that isn't in the source such as how loud or quiet it can play (which isn't based on the instrument but the person playing the instrument). Also, a product listing on a website is not a good source for information. ― Blaze WolfTalkBlaze Wolf#6545 14:41, 30 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]
