Hello - please see the whole discussion on Talk: Caylee Anthony homicide - the editor who put the tag on is not active and seemed to have been pushing his own POV about this (see also his comments regarding Philip Markoff). Consensus on the Caylee Anthony talk page clearly is that the article is fair and not POV, so I'm removing the tag. If you find the article to be POV, please make the argument on the talk page rather than just replacing the tag - I think that retaining the tag just because one drive-by put it on is not appropriate. Sure thing - no problem. Was just trying to head off an unnecessary edit war over a tag! Tvoz/talk 17:27, 26 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

David Johnston[edit]

While it's okay to note in Johnston's article that he's reportedly going to be named the next GG, could you please wait until the announcement is actually made by Stephen Harper himself before adding Johnston's name to Governor General of Canada, or listing "Next Governor General" in his infobox, or anything else definitive like that? While it is pretty low, the likelihood that the media got this one wrong isn't actually zero until the formal announcement is actually made — so we do need to wait until the words actually come out of Harper's mouth before we treat it as a fait accompli. Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
