KCPQ[edit]

Hi! I wrote much of the current text of KCPQ and led its promotion to Good Article and Featured Article status. I wanted to simply comment in response to your talk page note that the "blurbs" you see with Today's Featured Article (TFA) are worked on by a team of editors, not just the person who promoted it. KCPQ, due to the length of its history, was quite challenging to turn into a 1,000-character blurb for the Main Page. Is there something you thought was missing from the blurb? It's not just missing as such, and this is a problem with any articles for commercial products, really; they always seem to appear to be just an advert on the main page... if people look them up to learn more about them then they already know about them, but if they're on the main page then they're just thrust there, and for anyone who doesn't know about the process behind it looks almost like the subject has paid to be there... 92.7.58.211 (talk) 09:27, 14 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
