Hi 67.85.46.192! I am replying to your message you left on my talkpage here on your talkpage as IP addresses are not notified when I respond on mine. Your message stated: "I don't mean to be condescending, but the edits I made for I Know What You Did Last Summer (TV series), I did it because I found information on the characters' names, exclusively on how their names be spelled and their last names." I reverted your edits because you did not support your changes to the spelling from “Allison” to “Alison” with reliable sources as required by Wikipedia policy. Several sources, such as SyFy and TV Guide use the spelling “Allison.” If you have reliable sources for this spelling, please provide them so we can discuss, and please let me know if you have any other questions. Thanks! Wikipedialuva (talk) 21:52, 7 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]

From watching some of the episodes, in episode two, there was a treehouse with the word Alison spelled on it. Including when her friends got a text from "Alison" when Johnny was attacked.
It even said it on the "x-ray" feature when I was watching it on Amazon Prime. 67.85.46.192 (talk) 22:16, 7 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Hi! Thanks for the reply. After reading your reply and looking into it some more, I found there are a mix of sources that seem to use "Alison" as well, such as Vulture. I do not currently have access to Amazon Prime, but I appears that there is enough evidence that there is a legitimate dispute into how it is spelled. For that reason, I don't have a problem with the spelling of "Alison" on the page going forward. I will make a note of the talk page about our discussion in case it comes up again in the future. Thanks again for the civil discussion! Wikipedialuva (talk) 22:46, 7 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]
