Information icon Hello. This is a message to let you know that one or more of your recent contributions, such as the edit you made to Survivor: Ghost Island, did not appear constructive and has been reverted. Please take some time to familiarise yourself with our policies and guidelines. You can find information about these at our welcome page which also provides further information about contributing constructively to this encyclopedia. If you only meant to make test edits, please use the sandbox for that. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you may leave a message on my talk page. Thank you. If this is a shared IP address, and you did not make the edits, consider creating an account for yourself or logging in with an existing account so you can avoid further irrelevant notices.

November 2018[edit]

Hello, I'm ImprovedWikiImprovment. I noticed that you made a change to an article, Blue Bloods (season 8), but you didn't provide a source. I’ve removed it for now, but if you’d like to include a citation to a reliable source and re-add it, please do so! If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. IWI (chat) 15:56, 14 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]

March 2019[edit]

Warning icon Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to blank out or remove portions of page content, templates, or other materials from Wikipedia without adequate explanation, as you did at Survivor: Edge of Extinction, you may be blocked from editing. Thank you. OctoMocto (talk) 20:27, 13 March 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Hey OctoMocto, how about you stop disrupting ME?! I made that edit ONCE based on what I thought Wikipedia's guidelines are regarding TV episodes that haven't been aired. It's called a good faith edit. Of course, I turned out to be wrong, so it won't happen again, but you don't need to bully me about it. If you do so again, I will report you so that your account gets terminated permanently. By the way, you didn't sign with four tildes. 50.232.92.83 (talk) 11:29, 14 March 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Warning icon Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to blank out or remove portions of page content, templates, or other materials from Wikipedia without adequate explanation, as you did at Tony Vlachos, you may be blocked from editing. jp×g 06:07, 15 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]

If this is a shared IP address, and you did not make the edits referred to above, consider creating an account for yourself or logging in with an existing account so that you can avoid further irrelevant notices.

Information icon Hello, I'm Asartea. I wanted to let you know that I reverted one of your recent contributions—specifically this edit to Wreck-It Ralph—because it did not appear constructive. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. If you have any questions, you can ask for assistance at the Help desk. Thanks. Asartea Talk | Contribs 13:13, 4 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Let me guess, just because I'm an unregistered user, that automatically means any edit I make constitutes vandalism, right? Do I really need to find administrators for every little grammar fix or helpful minor context addition and beg for permission to make those kinds of edits to a page? 50.232.92.83 (talk) 13:21, 4 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]
No, but you need to be civil, which you are at best skirting the line of being in this instance. The person looking at your edit may see edits like yours regularly via Recent Changes that are not constructive, or they may be a watcher of the Wreck-It Ralph page and have seen several recent cruftier plot additions (often by anonymous/IP users or very new ones) at odds with consensus and thought yours fit that group. If someone reverts your edit, it may be more constructive to assume they were doing it in good faith and (particularly if this is not the first revert of the same content) talk about it on the talk page--not to admins but to regular users--in order to build consensus. The encyclopedia cannot function if everyone's first reaction whenever they're reverted is to scream about how unfair it was (sometimes, if there's a clear discriminatory aspect to a revert, there might be something worth discussing... but 95% of the time I'd assume that's not an aspect of why a revert was done). - Purplewowies (talk) 19:05, 6 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Hello, I'm Shadow of the Starlit Sky. I noticed that you recently removed content from NCIS: Los Angeles (season 14) without adequately explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an accurate edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry; the removed content has been restored. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. -- Shadow of the Starlit Sky 16:39, 8 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]
