Welcome to Wikipedia. It might not have been your intention, but you removed a speedy deletion tag from Tom Rudd, a page you have created yourself. If you do not believe the page should be deleted, you can place a {{hangon}} tag on the page, under the existing speedy deletion tag (please do not remove the speedy deletion tag), and make your case on the page's talk page. Tom Rudd[edit]
Seeing as it is not an attack, the G10 tag for personal attacks has been changed to an A7 tag for non-notable individuals. If the article is to be ultimately kept (i.e. after the speedy deletion, there is still an Articles for Deletion venue), you should provide reliable sources which establishes how Tom Rudd meets the Wikipedia notability guideline. Currently, you cite Youtube and a blog from Windows Live Spaces, neither of which are reliable sources. --Patar knight - chat/contributions 14:35, 11 April 2009 (UTC)

- Newspaper reports are almost always a reliable source, especially if its a major one like the New York Times or the Globe and Mail. I think in this case, those are the most reliable sources you'll find, considering that it's a Youtube personality. If there are no Newspaper reports, I doubt they'll be magazine articles or books, so try finding newspaper articles that write about Tom Rudd. --Patar knight - chat/contributions 14:54, 11 April 2009 (UTC)

Your recent edits[edit]
Hi there. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. If you can't type the tilde character, you should click on the signature button 
located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your name and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. Thank you! --SineBot (talk) 14:48, 11 April 2009 (UTC)
Autobiographies on Wikipedia[edit]
You should wait for others to write an article about subjects in which you are personally involved, as you did at Tom Rudd. This applies to articles about you, your achievements, your band, your business, your publications, your website, your relatives, and any other possible conflict of interest.
Creating an article about yourself is strongly discouraged. If you create such an article, it might be listed on articles for deletion. Deletion is not certain, but many feel strongly that you should not start articles about yourself. This is because independent creation encourages independent validation of both significance and verifiability. All edits to articles must conform to Wikipedia:No original research, Wikipedia:Neutral point of view, and Wikipedia:Verifiability.
If you are not "notable" under Wikipedia guidelines, creating an article about yourself may violate the policy that Wikipedia is not a personal webspace provider and would thus qualify for speedy deletion. If your achievements, etc., are verifiable and genuinely notable, and thus suitable for inclusion in Wikipedia, someone else will probably create an article about you sooner or later.
