March 2022[edit]

Information icon Hello. I have noticed that you often edit without using an edit summary. Please do your best to always fill in the summary field. This helps your fellow editors use their time more productively, rather than spending it unnecessarily scrutinizing and verifying your work. Even a short summary is better than no summary, and summaries are particularly important for large, complex, or potentially controversial edits. To help yourself remember, you may wish to check the "prompt me when entering a blank edit summary" box in your preferences. Thanks! - FlightTime (open channel) 02:32, 18 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Yeah. OK. I too have noticed that YOU rarely include an edit summary in any of your edits. Don't be a hypocrite. I can start leaving baseless warnings too if you insist on behaving like a child. 156.57.0.55 (talk) 02:37, 18 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]

[1] Thanks for proving beyond a doubt that you leave fewer edit summaries than I do. Why on earth would you leave a warning claiming that I never leave edit summaries when you clearly never leave them yourself? I think the problem might be resolved if you start looking a bit closer at edits before you revert. Being trigger happy can create needless issues. And stop with the toothless warnings. 156.57.0.55 (talk) 02:54, 18 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]

June 2022[edit]

Information icon Hello. This is a message to let you know that one or more of your recent contributions, such as the edit(s) you made to Talk:Rachel Levine, did not appear to be constructive and have been reverted. Please take some time to familiarise yourself with our policies and guidelines. You can find information about these at our welcome page which also provides further information about contributing constructively to this encyclopedia. If you only meant to make test edits, please use the sandbox for that. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you may leave a message on my talk page. Thank you. If this is a shared IP address, and you did not make the edits referred to above, consider creating an account for yourself or logging in with an existing account so that you can avoid further irrelevant notices.
Please refrain from deleting others' talk page comments. You may be offended by a comment, but Wikipedia grants you no rights to remove them withpout the other users' permission. Don't quote policy when it is you who are in the wrong. 156.57.0.55 (talk) 17:10, 2 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Hello and welcome to Wikipedia. Constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, but a recent edit of yours to the page User talk:156.57.0.55 has an edit summary that appears to be inadequate, inaccurate, or inappropriate. The summaries are helpful to people browsing an article's history, so it is important that you use edit summaries that accurately tell other editors what you did. Feel free to use the sandbox to make test edits. Any more edit summaries like this and you are very likely to get blocked from editing. That goes for trolling in general too. Mild clarification regarding discretionary sanctions[edit]

Hello! You may have misunderstood the template message I sent before; it's not an "invitation" to anything, nor an accusation of wrongdoing. It is just a message is to notify you that standard discretionary sanctions are in effect, which place stricter requirements on editor behavior in highly contentious areas, including gender and sexuality. Editors are expected to edit carefully and constructively in these areas to avoid enforcement, such as topic bans. Please avoid willfully misgendering BLP subjects on Wikipedia, and refrain from making personal attacks directed at other editors, such as your edit summary here.

I hope you continue making constructive improvements to Wikipedia, such as your well-written and sourced changes to Mötley Crüe and Ryan Rozicki. Warm regards, RoxySaunders (talk · contribs) 20:17, 2 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]
