Hi, and welcome to Wikipedia. I've given your recent contribution to Fourth Estate quite a trim, to conform to the WP:TOPIC policy. For example, "Mitt's petting zoo" could be considered for the Mitt Romney page, but it hasn't got anything to do with Fourth Estate. Be careful not to add your own analysis to the sources: I couldn't find anything about "media uproar" being the reason for Romney's statement, for example. Don't sign your mainspace contributions.

Well, I will work on it. I strive for being objective and factual. Thanks for the feed back. It looks like the Son of BOSS article is full sail; deservedly so. I have always been a "sniffer" and listen closer to what people do not say or express. On the premises that people tell lies and keep the truth silent. The arm of the LDS is far reaching as a major genealogy repository. I am not seeing this connection covered in the world of business and industry - puzzling. An ax grinder? Me? Or a seeker of real life drama and intrigue. Not really taking a position on a favorite candidate for president, or political party and acceptable of all religious beliefs, I do not posses an axe to grind. I gave you that warning because you accused another editor of working for Congress and being a "mole" of some sort. Take a look at this change you made; [1]; what does being a Mormon have anything to do with a tax shelter? I have been contracted to research DAM, Digital Asset Management/Rights, for an educational client. The space is changing most rapidly with advent of new technology, impression rates, etc., Clients are concerned of running afoul of their licensing terms for video and image assets. Respectfully, would you please explain to me how that process works. Twice, you removed my content without valid recourse. I did not place or detect anything personal in my paragraph. I am citing the fact. Should this not be being discussed for resolution on the noticeboard? I mean really a suppression of facts on a fictional character, Howell. As a rule of thumb, when in doubt, do not block; instead, consult other administrators for advice. After placing a block that may be controversial, it is a good idea to make a note of the block at the administrators' incidents noticeboard for peer review.

Administrators should take special care when dealing with new users. Beginning editors are often unfamiliar with Wikipedia policy and convention, and so their behavior may initially appear to be disruptive. Responding to these new users with excessive force can discourage them from editing in the future

The fictional capitalistic character, Howell, created by [[Sherwood Schwartz|Sherwood Schwartz]] has been mentioned several times on network American television as a satirical portrayal of the 2012 GOP candidate for president of the U.S; but apparently some editors of wikipedia feel that either this personified personality or the popular media sources cited for inclusion are not noteworthy.

Appreciate it. I am trying to get the neurons wrapped around the "notability" concept. If a topic is old, rare, etc.,; very likely few citations and "notability". I was not sure this would even pass the muster. So, as in some of my other contributions; offered limited completeness. I will offers some enhancements to the Mountain Pavilion. I guess if I try to make it simple, it's that we can't really write about anything that wasn't written about before. Constituting what is "enough" writing about a subject can be a grey area, if you look over the behemoth WP:N it can help, but a basic guideline is that a subject be written about in more than passing in two independent publications. So, just focusing on Mountain Pavilion, if we could only find brief mentions of it then it would not meet notability criteria. Just because it existed doesn't mean it's notable. Luckily, I think Mountain Pavilion, with a bit of work will exceed the criteria fairly. I've found some sources and I can add some later. Let's work on rewriting it a bit.

For an example, I wrote about an inn in the same area some time ago; see Three Pigeons. Check out some of the organization, templates used. Let me know when to look back over it. - Theornamentalist (talk) 19:41, 23 November 2012 (UTC)

I suppose "staking out" what seems like a good candidate for inclusion to wiki should be balanced with the degree of completeness. For example, would you say that it is better to put Mountain Pavilion article out, even in a rough, limited form; or to wait and offer more thorough coverage? It seemed to me that it was better to initiate, collaborate, refine than hesitate. Eldorado Amusement Park[edit]

Looking at this article, I am wondering why you did not work this article up in your user space before publishing it as an article. It has numerous Manual of style issues, only one source is cited plus the entire article seems to be lifted from a work with possible copyright/attribution issues as seen here which has the following statement:

Content creation is a great thing, but this particular content would have benefited from further work before being published into article-space. {{db-g7}} aka {{db-author}}[edit]

The above templates can be used to ask for the deletion a page you have created, when you are its only contributor. By blanking the page and adding the one of the above it will be removed from the article space. I would suggest doing so for the above article. While you may believe it is of interest to add subjects, and then see what happens, it is actually counterproductive to post new articles that are poorly constructed and referenced, adding unnecessarily to the workload. Therefore, I'd suggest:

Creating a User page[edit]

When creating a new page you are given the option to create a USER page: I would suggest using it so that you can better practice writing, structuring, and formatting references before launching new articles for publication. Type title in search box (upper right hand corner). You will be offered the following (example).

You can also start your new article at Special:Mypage/Eldorado (Weehawken). There, you can develop the article with less risk of deletion, ask other editors to help work on it, and move it into "article space" when it is ready.

You can the inform other editors of its existence and ask for help to build it. This editorial process can help to unsure the quality of published works and avoid cluttering the encyclopaedia with ingredients without a recipe. Djflem (talk) 09:45, 25 November 2012 (UTC)

Surely, you jest that it should be deleted. It seems that the process worked fine on Mountain Pavilion and now it seems like a great article. With a little massaging, Eldorado will be there to. I have emailed for permission to include citation. I tell ya, if I was not such a bull, hard headed, fella; I would get discouraged. This Eldorado park is waaay superior in topic than many, many articles. Why is it not even included in Amusement Park? Why is it not included in that particular article? I suppose because not every single amusement park ever built in the world is included in that article.

As to Djflem's suggestions - User space is a place where editors can work and collaborate on content that is not ready for publication into Wikipedia article space. I agree with Djflem, that at the very least this content should have been left in the creator's sandbox so it could be improved there while Wikipietime is waiting for permission to re-use the content. Technically, right now it looks to me like it could possibly be deleted just for the apparent copyright violation alone. --Shearonink (talk) 16:03, 25 November 2012 (UTC)

the Eldorado was the grandfather of Pleasure Parks, adjacent to a city of 300k people. I do not see how an article covering the history of could exists without mentioning, respectfully saying. My only concern is the quality of this encyclopedia, copyright violations are taken very seriously around the project. I stand by my comment about the possible violation - when I posted that it was entirely valid. I am casting no aspersions about the validity of the subject, I am only concerned with the quality of the content. So you are saying that there are reliable sources saying America's Egyptomania started at the Eldorado? If that is so, then you should include and cite them (I would have thought rather that the park was a symptom - not a cause - of 19th Century America's fascination with ancient Egypt's history/motifs). I agree totally on the citation integrity and your efforts toward a quality, correct article. The Egyptomania, good one, is perhaps a theory, unfounded. The Egyptian Theater mania swept the country and had to have originated somewhere and the 1891 looks to be the earliest. The region was a destination of many immigrants and the likelihood that it originated there is not implausible. I tell ya, if you "were not such a bull, hard headed, fella" you'd understand that coming up with things to write about is not the hard part. Anyone could easily rattle off tens of worthwhile topics, and create stubs all over the place. I don't think it adds to the quality or integrity of the encyclopaedia. What is being suggested/requested is that you try to develop the articles you'd like to see written before publishing them, not just dumping stuff that you expect other people to clean up, as happened at Mountain Pavilion and Eldorado. Please try to practice formatting, style, and referencing, By the way, Eldorado was much more of pleasure garden than an amusement park. Opened in 1898, the Palisades Amusement Park, a few miles upriver was much more so Djflem (talk) 19:47, 28 November 2012 (UTC)

Yes, some more development before publishing to main space would be great, just because it worked once doesn't mean it will work the second or third or fourth (or whatever) time.

There are a few other things that I have noticed in your edits... Why did you completely blank that pre-existing template, Template:WPPrivateEquity? And page moves were hard for me to master, maybe before you do any more, (as you did for Total Noise/Total Noise Society/User:Total Noise Society)) you should probably take a look at Wikipedia:Moving a page and Help:How to move a page. You can always ask for help in the Wikipedia Editing Help IRC Channel, post a request at the appropriate administrators' noticeboard or post a query on an active adminstrator's talk page. Looking at it and related articles, it does seem the firm is notable, though the very brief stub that you originally entered did seem qualify for speedy--but I should indeed have looked further. I see you now have some additional material in userspace. As you have a record of being a responsible editor in this field, makes substantial articles, I'm going to simplify things by restoring the originally deleted stub, and marking it as underconstruction.

I wanted to add the following to the duscussion but it was closed; so here;

Did you, or do I have, the ability to perform a revision to the talk page that would result in ability to see revision concealed? If so, that is really some super power that I want to know about. Please, direct or inform me.

My contributions are to address the quality of the article and in this case, not the BLP but the manipulation of the media to either squash or promote a narrative. The accusation of "defamatory and potentially libelous" comments does cause me pause. "Scurrying" to research the forces that exist is a prudent exercise; in my opinion. This is a fast moving topic and there are a lot of bodies in orbit.

I noticed an article you created, Scott Hatch, had been proposed for deletion, with several issues including an unreliable source. I am also particularly scrupulous about BLP violations against religious minorities (in this case a Mormon); for what it's worth, I'm not a unitarian. I take no stance about whether Hatch has mis-used his status as son of the 3rd in line to the Presidency for personal gain. Going to your talk page, I saw that you'd been warned at least a dozen times about poorly-cited and/or non-notable biographies, edit-warring, and many other basic editing issues, for a period of several years. It's okay to have a personal agenda, but you need to disclose all conflicts of interest, and most importantly, you need to work for the benefit of the charity for which we volunteer. Remember, Wikipedia is a project of a private charity - it is not a public soapbox in a London park - and can lose its 501(c)(3) status if it becomes too political. You can be forced out of Wikipedia if you violate its rules and violate your fiduciary duties. Yet nobody seems to ever have given in all fairness you a general warning (unless you erased it), which is necessary before a editor can be blocked or barred. Since I am no longer an admin, I can't block nor ban you, so it was not intended as a threat. I gave you just a warning. As a lawyer, teacher, and fiduciary, it is natural for me to warn others of problems they seem to be creating for themselves. "It is what it is." I'm just doing you a favor. Speedy deletion[edit]

WPT, I think you have a misconception about speedy deletion. You've badgered a number of editors including Alex Shih ‎ saying they should have engaged in discussion before speedily deleting an article. That's not how it works. Speedy deletion is designed to be just that - speedy - for articles that are so bad that they need no discussion. You should keep that in mind going forward.

As you know, I've had some issues with several articles you've created. I believe you honestly want to create decent articles here but you just seem challenged in doing so and many of the articles you have created just don't meet our standards - which I see is leaving you understandably frustrated. May I suggest that going forward, instead of creating articles directly, you use the WP:AFC process so that you can get some coaching and your articles will stand a better chance of surviving?

Bravo! Sure seems that a suppression on an ideological bias and basis is at play on wikipedia. Glaringly predicatable as demonstrated over the last week of my activities. Suppression of Katharine Gorka article and delegating to Sebastian Gorka is eerily similar to what is emerging with National Diversity Coalition for Trump and Michael D. Cohen (lawyer). I will expand the topic, NDCT on Cohen's page and then the removal for the reason that his page is not about NDCT. Everyone, including myself, need to own up to their actions. M-Kate Oligarch Flights

The oligarch has a private Airbus A319 whose registration M-KATE allows it to be tracked online. M-KATE is normally based in Moscow or Switzerland, but made numerous flights all over the US from August 2016 through November 2016, the peak season for last year’s presidential campaign – right at the moment when American intelligence agencies believe Moscow was supposedly hijacking the election on Trump’s behalf (No proof). According to flight logs from respected plane logging sites FlightRadar24 and PlaneFinder, as well as photos of planes on the ground during the campaign, M-KATE showed up at the very same cities, and the very same (otherwise unremarkable) airports where Trump happened to be – Charlotte, North Carolina, Concord, North Carolina, Las Vegas and Miami.

Indeed, early last month – on Friday, February 10 – M-KATE flew from Switzerland to Miami, where the President was due to party with hedge fund mogul Stephen Schwarzman. Why would Rybolovlev’s plane scurry back and forth from Moscow to odd destinations such as Charlotte and Concord, or to Las Vegas, New York and Miami, precisely when Trump and his team were in the neighbourhood? Was Rybolovlev some sort of Putin emissary, a go-between for Trump and Moscow? The flights remain a genuine enigma; there are no eyewitness reports that the two men actually met or indeed of who was on the plane. It is not unknown for jets to be chartered out. A White House spokesman denied contact between the two men.’ Rybolovlev’s New York spokesman Brian Cattell denied the widespread speculation about the Russian oligarch’s Florida property dealings. Mr Rybolovlev has never met Donald Trump.’ The president´s son Donald Trump Jr told a Manhattan real estate conference in 2008: ‘Russians make up a pretty disproportionate cross-section of a lot of our assets. We see a lot of money pouring in from Russia.’

Hi, Wikipietime. I added {{talkref}} (full name {{Reflist-talk}}) to your comment Talk:Namaste#Namaste in school controversy. In articles, references quite properly all go at the foot of the page, but on talk pages they are best kept with the comments they belong to, rather than being perhaps a long, long scroll away and mixed with references to other comments. This is a useful little template that does just that. I recommend it to you.

In writing this comment, I noticed your section #Michael Tyler DNC spokesman and the following ones, with your text note "THIS SECTION IS MY WORKSPACE AND NOTES....for creating and clearing up.." at the top. This creates some confusion, as the "New Section" tab at the top of the page places the new section at the foot of the page, so it's in chronological order. Here, though, that and another of your drafts, #Vladislav Baumgertner, along with References and two sections by other users, #WikiProject Investment and #Your contributed article, Michael Tyler(disambiguation). This is confusing.

I was going to urge you to use your sandbox, User talk:Wikipietime/sandbox, as a draft space, but I see that Toddst1 has already done so, and your answer. Have you read Help:My sandbox? There is also Help:Userspace draft. Once you have prepared an article in either space, you (or an autoconfirmed user, if you aren't already one) can Move it into main space.
