About me

Well, the official one is Akshat, although my friends — and I invite you to do so too — call me "Akki","Ak" or "Baba"(owing to my interest in Astrology and Spirituality). I was born and brought up in the dynamic country of india, where I still continue to put on ;). I'm a Hindi speaker by my native origin, alongwith a bearable level of English(spoken, written etc etc .. ). As a result of my penchant for learning new words in different languages, I can speak a little in German, French, Swedish as well.

Work

I am a Healthcare Analyst / Software Quality Assurance Analyst Engineer, and work as analyst in a U.S. Healthcare Firm. As we are Healthcare guys, we take special care to ensure that everyone's health is being taken care of properly (specially ours - by not overworking, infact working, and Relaxing by means of inventive measures such as Chillin' at workplace, Bunking office and so on :D ). As of 2014, I am a certified "Professional, Academy of Healthcare Management" and hold a "Six Sigma Green Belt" as well. I've procured a master's degree in business Administration too, but honestly, I love chillin' up rather than giving and taking orders.

Activities

When I'm on the wiki, I spend most of my time doing the little things, such as fighting vandalism, fixing errors, watching Special:NewPages, or just clicking the random page link repeatedly hoping to find something interesting to read.

Hobbies

I like Music (most of the types), Backstreet Boys of course being my favourite. I have a keen interest in Astrology and spirituality and I like to explore those subjects as much as possible. I also like to sing, play keyboard and was a recognized singer during my college days. Rollerskating adds up to another of my hobbies, which proves that I am a completely messed up guy liking all sorts of various things, none of which have anything in common. Playing Video games, Reading Fiction are what I devote my time to, generally.
