My legal name is Michael A. Peters. The username Pipfrosch is the common name Schreber gave to the Northern Leopard Frog (Rana pipiens) when he first described it in 1782.

My primary interest is herpetology. My primary interest at wikipedia is improving herpetology articles. I do not do it often, previously always did it as anonymous edits (less than once every three months) but decided what the hell, make an account.

I also plan to on occasion upload images to wikimedia.
