I've noticed your contributions to the Graphics Lab, and I need to ask. We could use some of your Arabic skill as many of the Wikipedia versions of Scout emblems in the region are rather substandard and could use improvement (by comparison most of Europe and Asia are vectorized), but the cleanup would include the Arabic text. 2. File:Egyptian Girl Guides.png * م م | كوني مستعدة

The flag on the emblem is the old flag of the United Arab Republic, Egypt's union with Syria from 1958-1961. The country's name and flag was kept in Egypt until 1971 so this emblem was used in those years. Hence the letters are م ع (abbr. for "Arab Guides") and not م م (abbr. for "Egyptian Guides") which are used in this with the new flag.

Thank you for your legwork on this one! Then please split this one, perhaps you can use File:Nuvola Syria flag.svg, please create new File:United Arab Republic Girl Guides Association 1958-1961.svg and new File:Egyptian Girl Guides Association.svg

-at first glance, the top and side cusps seem to be similar to File:Surinaams Padvindsters Gilde.svg. File:WikiProject Scouting trefoil blank.svg may be better, but with a straight stem.

-this is actually the best version to be had, it predates vectorization by years, and a Google search brings this one up first. I found five or six variants on Facebook, but all are smaller and cruder. Sorry.

-this one is easy-File:World Association of Girl Guides and Girl Scouts.svg, change the color to dark medium green, add the text and we're done!

-the basic shape/text elements are at File:Iran Scout Organization 1980s.svg, bottom design is File:Iran Air Force roundel.svg, top design is File:Coat of arms of Iran.svg very tiny in gold on a green disc, surrounded by broadcast waves like File:Telecom-icon.svg

7. File:Scouting in Somalia 1960.svg add Diyaar Ahaaw in Arabic script to scroll

-for this one it looks like they use Latin script now, but they used Arabic script in 1960, if I read it correctly.

8. File:Saudi Arabian Boy Scouts Association 1960s-1980s.png→svg remove hands and bottom text

-the basic shape/text elements are at File:Kaaba mirror edit jj.jpg, which should be in two tone charcoal and black, not green, top design is File:Coat of arms of Saudi Arabia.svg, I can't tell what plant it is, but surrounded by a wreath somewhat like File:Escudo de Merida Yucatan.svg

9. File:Fédération Nationale du Scoutisme Marocain old.png→svg I suspect the blue and gold is someone's artist interpretation, the others I have seen have all been green and red two-tone alone, can you try both?

10. File:International Union of Muslim Scouts.png→svg straighten

-unfortunately this is actually the best version to be had, but parts can be rebuilt from File:Kaaba mirror edit jj.jpg, File:Flag of the United Nations.svg and File:World Scout Emblem inverse.svg. I have no idea how to do that thicker Arabic script. Sorry.

High priority-presently low quality or higher traffic (Egypt and Lebanon are traffic priorities)[edit]

We still need the Arabic corrected on the emblems below. The text has been provided, or the emblem is sufficiently large to allow you to work, I hope. Please when you get a chance!
