Hello, I am Mr. Rookles (not real name). I am a 16 year old male student in the USA. I enjoy playing classical music..and have recently found that it is better than some rock music... except for maybe Death Cab for Cutie, REM, and the Beatles...And don't forget Red Hot Chilly Peppers and 311 too. I have a passion for soccer (I play defense), and was extremely angry that France didn't win the world cup (I like the players, not because they are french, but because they are skilled and that shoot out should have never occured). It really stinks to be in the US and love soccer because there really isn't much professional action here ( Instead, I keep up with world soccer news on BBC online). I once was a vandal here under a couple of different names, but I have cleaned up my act and have started fighting vandalism. I enjoy contributing to Wikipedia because it is helping people evereywhere who have a project due the next day and need some quick, reliable, info (we all have been through that before). I hope to someday become an administrator but for right now I am just trying to contribute to this project.

My Opinion on the Value of Wiki[edit]

I know that wikipedia is great for many people who are looking for information, but I think that the lax vandal rules make it a dificulty to keep accuracy constant. I was once a vandal and know very well that many vandals strike in multiple places and at multiple times. They will do almost anything to grab attention and to escape permanent banishment. I belive that if your IP adress is used for vandalism after a first warning, that the IP adress should be banned no less than six months (excluding libraried and schools because they are always vandalizing the pages). This is my opinion because I see constant vandalism in peoples contributions (Just look at my contribs and others who fight vandalism here to see how many reverts it is possible to wrack up). Lax security and rules hurts Wikipedia.

I have found a new mission: Create userboxes. The one that says that "This user eats vandals for lunch" is mine. Anyone is welcome to it though. :)
