Article Evaluation (sharing economy)

Evaluating content: Everything in the article is relevant to the topic. However, the transport part should not be a first title content. The transport part of the article tells us two types of sharing economy which is transport and local delivery. This part should be renamed as example of sharing economy. And transport and local delivery should be a second title, because they are two example of sharing economy. This part could be improved by adding some other examples by different types of sharing economy. Also, the article give us a list of types of sharing in the first title 9. however, we don’t know the meaning of lots of types of sharing it shows. For example, we don’t know which mean cafeteria and social dining. We don’t know what’s their connection with sharing economy. So this part could be improved by list examples beside the name of types, those examples can help us a lot to understand sharing economy. Some information is out of date, for example it talk about sharing umbrella became popular in China in 2017, however, it doesn’t talk about the result in 2018. Does this pattern of sharing economy profit or not, it doesn’t give us a update information.

Evaluating tone: The article is neutral, it talks about the benefits and also the criticism of sharing economy. There aren’t any claims that appear heavily biased toward a particular position. There aren’t any overrepresented or underrepresented viewpoints.

Evaluating sources: The citations work and the sources support the claims in the article. Except the citation which talks about the history of sharing economy, others are all dated after 2010. So those citations aren’t out of date. However, some journal citations don’t have doi. Such as citation No.4, No.34, No.36, No.37, No.64, No.66, No.88, No.100, No.102, No.116 and No.132. Some sources are not neutral, however, the article has noted the bias. As the article has a good structure including benefit and criticism of sharing economy, all the unneutral sources have been divided in those opposite opinion parts.
