Schools[edit]

  • Algonquin Pre-Kindergarten Center[7]
  • Illinois Montessori Children's House-Closed
  • South Suburban Sda Christian School[8]
  • Rich Township High School[9]
    • Rich Central High School[9]
    • Rich East High School[9]
    • Rich South High School[9]
    • The Rich Township High School District 227 have voted to close The Rich East High School. However, there has not been a definite date as of now, when it will be closing. The students would be relocated to the other two Rich high schools Central and South. The school is closing for a variety of reasons: the main reason is the school needs to be renovated as it is prone to flooding and is the oldest of the three schools. The school needs a lot of renovations and the district does not see it reasonable to update one school leaving no funding for the other two schools.[10]
