Important Figures[edit]

I can understand removing the ARL/Auckland related links but I think including Stacey Jones and the Mad Butcher somewhere, either in the Culture or Important Figures sections is a must. Bongomanrae (talk) 06:47, 28 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Okay, just looked like a list that would become hard to define very quickly. It already included Ivan Cleary who I'd argue is no more notable to the Clubs history than say Matthew Ridge or Dean Bell. Mattlore (talk) 06:55, 28 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]
No problems with that, I'll just add The Mad Butcher and Stacey Jones under important figures. If anyone wants to include Ivan Cleary I guess then can put it forward here. Bongomanrae (talk) 07:59, 29 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Yeah, not sure why I put him there. He doesn't have the most appearances as coach yet, but seems set to. They're always subject to discussion.--Jeff79 (talk) 13:02, 29 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]
I think Cleary's case for inclusion is getting stronger: http://tvnz.co.nz/rugby-league-news/cleary-close-another-coaching-record-3465046 --Jeff79 (talk) 12:10, 15 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

So too is Manu Vatuvei`s: http://news.smh.com.au/breaking-news-sport/vatuvei-resigns-with-warriors-20100824-13oov.html --Jeff79 (talk) 04:54, 24 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]
