This Template is getting out of control. It's title is Template:Soviet Automotive Makers but it now contains much Post-Soviet links. Either the Template name needs changing or the post-USSR needs removing.--Degen Earthfast (talk) 13:02, 16 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Wrong template[edit]

Some companies has nothing to do with the Soviet Union, while another neither with the Soviet Union or the Russian Federation. The template is also categorized as Russian. Aleksandr Grigoryev (talk) 14:45, 22 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]

The template seriously infringes onto WP:POV and is inaccurate. It seems to have been developed to pursue the Russian irredentism in Wikipedia. Aleksandr Grigoryev (talk) 19:26, 10 April 2017 (UTC)[reply]

This template is pretty pointless at the moment, 90% of the companies listed are either Russian or Ukrainian, and both countries already have their own automotive navbox (Template:Automotive industry in Ukraine and Template:Automotive industry in Russia). If no one objects, I will move it to Template:Automotive industry in the Soviet Union and limit its scope to Soviet carmakers.--eh bien mon prince (talk) 20:54, 8 June 2017 (UTC)[reply]
