On the Pulse of Morning[edit]

Created/expanded by Figureskatingfan (talk). Self nom at 17:19, 27 October 2012 (UTC)

The hook, at 224 characters, is over the limit of 200. The following is 193. I added a (pictured), which doesn't count in the character total.
ALT1: ... that Maya Angelou (pictured), who recited her poem "On the Pulse of Morning" at President Clinton's 1993 inauguration, was the first poet to read an inaugural poem since Robert Frost at Kennedy's in 1961? MANdARAX  XAЯAbИAM 21:21, 27 October 2012 (UTC)
I'm good with the alt hook. Thanks for the assist. Christine (Figureskatingfan) (talk) 19:30, 29 October 2012 (UTC)
  • Reviewer needed now that valid hook (ALT1) is proposed. BlueMoonset (talk) 04:26, 18 November 2012 (UTC)
  • Length is plenty (9,579 characters) and a 5x expansion was carried out on 26 October. The article is well referenced throughout, and there is no evidence of copyvio or close paraphrasing on either of the two online references. The hook, like most of the article is referenced offline, so is accepted AGF. Good to go. Harrias talk 23:15, 18 November 2012 (UTC)
