Marcel Pronovost[edit]

5x expanded by Resolute (talk). Self nominated at 03:49, 2 January 2014 (UTC).

  • May I suggest linking "scout"? It took me a couple of minutes to work out what was meant here. Moonraker (talk) 09:59, 4 January 2014 (UTC)
  • Certainly! I linked to scout (sport), as it provides a more direct description. Thanks! Resolute 21:23, 4 January 2014 (UTC)
  • Article expansion easily exceeds the 5X threshhold and meets the recency requirement. Article is well-sourced and quite thorough. QPQ req't has been satisfied. No close paraphrasing issues, copyright violations and plagiarism detected. The hook is interesting and short enough at 168 characters. I am not able to review the source used as the in-line citation for the hook fact but assume good faith. My only issue with the hook is that the supporting source for Pronovost's record is his own autobiography. Shouldn't the record be sourced by something other than the Pronovost's own assertion? • The Podnieks reference also supports this statement, though the book was completed shortly before New Jersey won in 2003, so Podnieks said 50 years, counting from 1950 (as a player) to 2000 (as a scout). Pronvost's autobiography would be an update to that. Thanks, Resolute 05:37, 11 January 2014 (UTC)
  • Thanks. Assume good faith on the dual sourcing. Everything else already checked out. Cbl62 (talk) 16:33, 11 January 2014 (UTC)
