Battle of Brunanburh[edit]

  • ... that the Battle of Brunanburh, fought in 937, has been described as "the greatest single battle in Anglo-Saxon history before Hastings"?

  • This article attained GA status on January 20 and is clearly long enough (at 10624 characters). AGF on the hook, as it is referenced to Smyth, an off-line source. The article itself is well referenced and the hook is very interesting (especially to someone like me who loves medieval history). Well done – keep them coming! Once the QPQ is done this should be good to go. Ruby 2010/2013 05:04, 31 January 2016 (UTC)
