Arthur Phillip

  • ... that before Arthur Phillip commanded the first fleet of convicts to settle Australia he was employed to spy on France? Source: Frost, Alan (1987). Arthur Phillip, 1738–1814: His Voyaging. Oxford University Press. pp. 129–133. ISBN 978-0-19-554701-6.

  • Substantial new GA; only issue I see is that the lede doesn't cover the entire life (what about 1792-1814?); I would suggest to improve that further. Hook is interesting and cited (probably needs a comma before "he", though, but as a non-native speaker I can always be wrong). Apparently this is your first DYK, so QPQ is not necessary. Seems good to go. Kusma (talk) 00:06, 12 December 2021 (UTC)
