Zheng Shuang (born 1991)Zheng Shuang – The other actress has no page. Timmyshin (talk) 09:00, 5 September 2014 (UTC)[reply]

  • Support: The other topic listed on the DAB page is (currently) entirely unsourced and not linked to any article. If that situation changes, this article should not be moved, but in the current situation there is no need for disambiguation.BarrelProof (talk) 18:26, 5 September 2014 (UTC)[reply]
  • Oppose - User:BarrelProof unfortunately in this case, as too often because of our giant WP:RECENT bias, a redlink on a China name dabpage in en.wp indicates that there is a person 10x more notable on zh.wp and in English books. Zheng Shuang is a common name, and the two subjects in books are the older actress zh:郑爽 (1966年生), and Zheng Shuang (artist). User:Timmyshin, would you be willing to start a stub on the older actress? This one should move to Zheng Shuang (actress, born 1991) since the woodcut artist (b.1936) is more notable in English books. In ictu oculi (talk) 00:17, 6 September 2014 (UTC)[reply]
  • No, I don't know who the old actress is, and the young actress should be primary over the artist IMO. Timmyshin (talk) 00:52, 6 September 2014 (UTC)[reply]
Why? When she's not mentioned in books and the artist is, how does the new actress pass WP:PRIMARYTOPIC? Primary Topic is the exception on en.wp, we only knowingly give articles ambiguous titles when we're 100% convinced that the subject is more likely than all other uses of the name in history combined. So how is the new actress more significant than all other Zheng Shuangs who have ever lived taken together? Please see WP:PRIMARYTOPIC and WP:RECENT. I've created Zheng Shuang (actress, born 1966). In ictu oculi (talk) 02:27, 6 September 2014 (UTC)[reply]
  • Where in WP:PRIMARYTOPIC says that you must appear in books? "A topic is primary for a term, with respect to usage, if it is highly likely—much more likely than any other topic, and more likely than all the other topics combined—to be the topic sought when a reader searches for that term." Is this even a debate that the younger actress, whose page gets thousands of hits per month, is multiple times more likely to be the sought-after topic, even if you consider the artist? Timmyshin (talk) 09:01, 8 September 2014 (UTC)[reply]
As previously, here:

WP:AT Usage in English reliable sources demonstrated with Google web, news, scholar, or book searches )

In ictu oculi (talk) 03:43, 15 September 2014 (UTC)[reply]
  • So "Google web, news, scholar or book searches" is equivalent to "Google book searches"? Timmyshin (talk) 10:09, 23 September 2014 (UTC)[reply]
  • Removed support above by strikethrough above, as the situation has changed. Oppose proposed move under the new circumstances, and I suggest withdrawal of the proposal. —BarrelProof (talk) 19:07, 6 September 2014 (UTC)[reply]

The Secret Keepers controversy[edit]

The postponement was due to a general blacklist by the state regulators on a co-actor, Zhao Lixin and that the production team had to edit Zhao out from the drama. WANG XIAOLING995 04:29, 17 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]
