Donald Duke ({{Duke-RDC}}) agrees that it was 924 miles. Further, he has the orders in May and July. Crouse (1990) agrees with Duke on both counts, though they were writing independently. Mackensen (talk) 14:19, 8 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]

That sounds great, Mackensen. As I don't actually have access to the Duke book, I'd really appreciate it if you could add that information to the article. I think that would really help substantiate what I've stated in the two notes. Thanks! Michael Barera (talk) 15:29, 8 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]
@Michael Barera: I'll take care of it. Duke can replace both Ingles and Robertson; they're not concerned primarily with the subject so I don't know that there's a need to mention them. Mackensen (talk) 17:28, 8 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]
@Mackensen: Sounds good to me. I'll defer to your judgment on this one. Thanks again! Michael Barera (talk) 23:03, 8 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]
