One problem with the assertion that the "press speaks for itself" is that the links in the article don't work. I'll try and fix them. Accounting4Taste 05:19, 27 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I don't know how to fix the links and I believe that since the spam tag has gone back on, the author may wish to try to remedy the situation. Accounting4Taste 05:25, 27 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Overzealous moderation is the cause of this problem![edit]

I am the author of the Zedge article and have been trying to make modifications to this article as you stated. But since moderation is SO quick on the draw - within seconds of publication - the author can't do anything to make appropriate modifications.

(1) Mashable is not a press release and if you provide time you'll see many more. (2) Zedge is the largest mobile content community worldwide. Do a search in Google. If you give us more than 15 seconds we'll be able to revise this accordingly as we've been trying to do. (3) The links work - I don't know what you are referring to. (4) The press releases from a public company were done for your benefit so that you'd appreciate that Zedge is a legitimate, large, financed web site and not a group of people looking to self promote spam. It takes a lot of time and money to release what you didn't bother reading thoroughly.

Respectfully, please do NOT delete articles within seconds of publications and give authors the benefit of the doubt, especially where there is some indication that the source is legitimate. At this point, since you've put the article in the holding pen, there is nothing we can do about it. Please release it so that we can continue to revise it properly. This web site is far more deserving of being in Wikipedia than half of the sites that appear elsewhere that I've seen. We'd appreciate your cooperation and understanding. Thank you. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Mikewex (talkcontribs) 05:38, August 27, 2007 (UTC)

You can always work on it offline or in a user subpage. The article isn't "in the holding pen" in any way, you can continue to edit it however you want.--P4k 05:42, 27 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]
