Other countries section and merging to Defense of infancy[edit]

I'm removing the section because:

  • it's nearly entirely unsourced
  • it's mostly incorrect
  • it's outside the scope of the article (this article is about the concept of youth offender, not the specific ages- there is a Defense of infancy article which lists the ages for a long list of countries)

I also suggest merging to Defense of infancy. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2A02:2F01:1059:F004:0:0:BC19:A31A (talk) 16:21, 10 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]

The facts pertaining to age being unsourced and incorrect are certainly a problem, but it does not fall outside the scope of the article. The information on what range of ages are considered young offenders is important in understanding the concept. However the lack of many countries information being in the article does pose somewhat of a problem. As for merging the the article into the Defense of infancy article, I have to oppose that. The article here is defining what a young offender is, not explaining that youth under those ages can use the Defense of infancy in legal proceedings. Providing a link to that article would be a good idea, but merging them would be unnecessary and create its own problems. It might however be beneficial to merge this article and either Minor (law) or juvenile delinquency. 192.203.222.62 (talk) 14:29, 13 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]

additional language link[edit]

pls add https://ja.wikipedia.org/wiki/%E5%B0%91%E5%B9%B4%E6%B3%95 thx

language link editing was working in the past, when these links were part of the site itself. Now one probably has to read wiki for dummies to understand the new system — Preceding unsigned comment added by 119.72.240.44 (talk) 10:23, 16 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]
