This article seriously needs improvement[edit]

Confusing[edit]

In the "History" section of this article, it says that YouTube is planning on launching Shorts on the YouTube TV app. However, they are launching it on the regular YouTube app for Smart TV. The concept of Short videos isn't new[edit]

Why does this deserve it's own wiki page? Especially without referencing any historical origin of the idea other then to tiktok?

Media companies have been using Short such as https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Felix_the_Cat

There's no reference to a term being coined officially per say, but those videos were all inherently identified as Shorts. See any of of the references pages on that Felix the Cat page and you'll see what i mean. 24.19.141.129 (talk) 02:06, 23 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]
