Yes, the unsourced, circuitous statement that the song's "connotation is obviously oriented toward a soldier happily leaving the US Military during the Viet Nam War" overlooks the fact that, unlike the war described in the lyrics, the Vietnam War had not been "won." In any case, it's unsourced, and may not be "obvious" to anyone beside the Wikipedia contributor who wrote it. Relgif (talk) 13:41, 10 June 2014 (UTC)

REALEASE DATE

It really surprises me to read that "Yellow river" was released on April 1970. It was a #1 hit in my country, Costa Rica (Central America), for two weeks. I'm sure it held the #1 position in the last week of 1969 and the first week of 1970.
