Too like a CV[edit]

This article contains far too much trivial information which, even if substantiated, is not appropriate and needs to be removed. Two editors have already removed such content, and AM0909 is asked not to revert any such edits again, nor should the non-logged in user, 103.245.144.22 whose only contribution to Wikipedia so far is to add much the same content back in again. It currently reads more like a CV than a succinct article on a potentially notable academic, which is a shame. Parkywiki (talk) 23:50, 15 December 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Trivial fluff now been deleted again. Parkywiki (talk) 00:55, 16 December 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Notability?[edit]

This article is now much more succinct, but possibly the topic is still not sufficient to meet the criteria for notability for academics, depending upon interpretation. She might meet criteria 2 or 3 though it should be noted Fellowship of the Academy of Sciences, Engineering and Technology, appears to be this journal publisher. The "National Environmental Science Academy, India" doesn't appear to be notable enough to have a Wikipedia entry - but that shouldn't be taken to mean it isn't a significant national award. See here. I simply can't tell. Parkywiki (talk) 01:02, 16 December 2016 (UTC)[reply]

I propose that this article be deleted because it doesn't seem to meet WP: ACADEMIC criteria for notability. The main reference is an obituary tribute article published by the colleagues of the deceased in a local newspaper. 49.15.229.87 (talk) 02:16, 11 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]
