Upon re-visiting this article, I believe it should not be a standalone, but should be merged as a few sentences into the Malaysia article. As currently written, it is quite one-sided, and no one (myself included) has attempted to provide referenced rebuttals or rejoinders. As an independent article, it is seriously unbalanced; if the content is included as part of the overall country article, the issue can be seen as one among many about the challenges and problems which may affect that or any country.
