Vandalism[edit]

A request to protect this article from regular vandalism by IP users was made today but was rejected. Trankuility (talk) 13:49, 12 February 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Understood. It was trivial one-off vandalism, and the admins have to balance editability ("anyone can edit") vs. vandalism, time to fix, etc. It's a call, and the admin this time said no. Were there regular, heavy daily vandalism - especially with a WP:BLP twist, I'd put the brakes on it myself - Alison ^❤ 21:57, 12 February 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks, Alison. It's even more of an issue on XX/XY, but to me the issue is that most changes on this page are forms of vandalism. It's a matter of ratio as well as frequency. Most time spent on this article is time fixing vandalism. Trankuility (talk) 00:19, 13 February 2016 (UTC)[reply]
