Are these two separate buildings, or is the chapel part of a larger church dedicated to St Peter? --Mais oui! (talk) 12:59, 5 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Wickham-Jones (2007) only mentions St Mary's and it is pretty clear from the OS that there is only one church building on the island. Haswell-Smith, Hamish (2004). The Scottish Islands. Edinburgh: Canongate. ISBN978-1-84195-454-7. is kind enough to mention that the chapel "was dedicated to either St Mary or St Peter". Scran are happy with St Mary's and you might have thought Historic Scotland would attempt to be consistent. BenMacDui 19:00, 5 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Ta. We'll stick with St Mary's then, even for the listed building cats, despite the HS ref. --Mais oui! (talk) 19:14, 5 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]
