Added citation[edit]

Although I find it unlikely that the location of the orginial Log College is controversial or likely to be challenged, I saw the request for citation, so I found a source that places it in the same small township, and cited it. (Like Caliga10 and Jason, I'm a Tennent grad (1st to graduate from the new school, '74, and attended both). I also attended Log College Jr. High, and went to scouts at the Neshaminy Warwick Presbyterian Church, aka Church of the Log College, so I suppose I could also create a website so I could then cite myself as an authority on this matter.

Two schools have borne the name[edit]

I am a graduate of this school (class of 1977) This article is somewhat limited in its scope. And somewhat misleading. The original school was a series of interconnected buildings built in the 1950's on Street Road. The school functioned into the 1970's. In 1973, a new, more up to date building, was built. For a time, both schools operated. The original school was renamed "William Tennent Intermediate High School" and enroled grades 9 and 10 (I attended there). The new building was named "William Tennent Senior High School" and enroled grades 11 and 12.

In 1980 or 1981, the original building was closed with grade 10 students being sent to the new building and grade 9 remaing in the various "Junior High Schools" in the district. The original building site was sold and the building leveled. There is NOTHING left of it. The site is now a retiterment condominium complex.

There is no mention of these facts in the article because I, the creator of the original article stub, was not awared of any of them, and WTHS's website is very scant on historical information. By all means, please add this information to the article if you'd like. I merely added the basic information that I could find and knew myself (I am a 1994 Tennent graduate).--Caliga10 11:54, 9 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

There have been many many changes, I understand. All of the classrooms thee -- when you attended, are enclosed. This was not the case when I was there. The room on the second and third levels were open classrooms. Each one was subdivided using dividers. -- Jason Palpatine 13:00, 9 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

The auditorium of the old High School was retained and is part of the senior citizens complex that replaced the high school. You can see it on satellite shots of the area.134.243.211.185 (talk) 21:15, 7 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]
