Date of death interesting discovery[edit]

I noted in the article that his place of death was [[Norm al, Illinois]], which is in the same county as where his son and daughter-in-law live. A brilliant place to exit this world considering he advocated that the "paranormal" was actually "normal" in some of his published papers. I have discovered an interesting bit of trivia, a strange coincidence, that I want to note here in case there is ever a possible use for it in the article in the future (perhaps if a high quality outside source mentions it). He died on January 9, 2012. So consider the following calculation:

01/09/2012
1 + 9 + 2012 = 2022
20 + 22 = 42

42 = The ultimate answer to the ultimate question of life, the universe, and everything

Google search: the answer to life the universe and everything

It's also the angle of a rainbow. Way to go, Mr. Roll. 5Q5 (talk) 18:35, 13 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Pov editing[edit]

Mass content was removed from the article from a POV editor. Skeptical sources and criticisms of Roll were removed from the article. I restored them. 82.132.229.106 (talk) 11:46, 22 October 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Redundant[edit]

The article has an entire paragraph which explains that Roll left his previous academic positions, and spend the entire 1980s and 1980s as a college professor in a Georgia-based university. Then his death section describes him as a long-time resident of Georgia. This sounds like a redundant repetition to me.

Any ideas of how to remove this redundancy? Dimadick (talk) 09:24, 7 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]
