Untitled[edit]

This article is absurd and trying to hard and making desperate attempts glorify Lahore in a way.

  1. The intro tells that flora and fauna is extremely diverse. Is it? Its seems only a mere personal opinion. Not encyclopedic until properly sourced.
  2. The mostly data is from the article, Lahore Zoo. We should add {{main|Lahore Zoo}} instead of copying all the data here. If any changes are made in Lahore Zoo article, people will not consider updating this list, hence, creating problems.
  3. An incredibly absurd error: Lahore Zoo species list contains animals that are not found naturally in Pakistan. Is chimpanzee found naturally or in wild in Pakistan or Lahore. NO. Its found in Africa. Then WHY the intro says 'natural beauty and wildlife' of Pakistan?
  4. The list of flora, again taken from Lahore Zoo article, contains flora that says they are native to Himalayas or even America. Then how come they are 'most commonly found' in Lahore. If a plant is from Himalaya, that does not automatically mean that it is from Lahore. Its from the country of Pakistan or America but not necessarily from the city of Lahore.
  5. Nothing is sourced. We should not misguide other people just because we LOVE Lahore too much. Imagine a student writes that 'chimpanzee is native to Lahore' in his final exam and lose marks. Who is responsible? The student? The editors? or Wikipedia?

Now I would request the creator of the article to address these issues because I don't want to spoil his/her "intellectual hard work". Farjad0322(talk|sign|contribs) 10:12, 26 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]

You are welcome to correct all of these issues with this article as with any article on wikipedia. I have this article watchlisted for this purpose, my intention to correct the article. But I have not gotten around to it. In my opinion you should have just made all of your suggested corrections to the article instead of just posting them on the talk page! --Kleopatra (talk) 17:11, 26 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Your all points make very much sense, and I appreciate the changes, however, WHY is the article renamed to 'Wildlife'? Flowers and plants don't classify in wildlife. (Watercolor121 (talk))
