Horseshoe Dam[edit]

Somewhere in this article, there needs to be a mention that Wilbur Dam was originally constructed as Horseshoe Dam. After the 1940 flood damaged the structure and its acquisition by TVA is when it became known as Wilbur Dam. A number of sources for verification can be had by Googling "Horseshoe Dam" Watauga OR Tennessee. Jhscarborough (talk)
