Boundaries[edit]

The boundaries here make no sense. K&A is not in West Kensington, and Front Street is more like the Eastern boundary, not the west. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Danfeder (talkcontribs) 15:11, 10 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]

As with Kensington, Philadelphia, we have two problems here: locally disputed boundaries and a lack of reliable sources. Given that Philly's neighborhoods do not have official boundaries, we mostly have to take what we can get. Penn has some info and city planning occasionally puts out lists of historical neighborhoods with a general idea of their boundaries. Recognized civil associations show up in a lot of the neighborhood articles as well.
What it comes down to is finding sources with some sort of cred and citing them carefully. Don't say the boundaries "are", rather say what a particular authority "said" they were at some particular point in time. Names and boundaries shift, sometimes dramatically, over time. - SummerPhD (talk) 16:27, 10 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]
All good points. I'll do my best to clean this up according to best practices. Danfeder (talk) 20:42, 24 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]
