CP 133 2019 Group 1 Peer Review[edit]

1. Group 1 greatly improved the content of the "Correct Care Solutions" page. For instance, they added to the list of services offered by Wellpath, which they also cited. After checking the citation, I have found it to be a reliable source of information for this topic. Additionally, the edits made by this group reflect a neutral view. Moving on to their Litigation section, this part is also heavily referenced. These citations are also from reputable sites. For instance, one site leads to a news article from a large news site with multiple authors peer reviewing it. The content of their edits are also clearly structured and easy to follow on. Ultimately, the group has greatly improved the contents of this page. Alanchan49 (talk) 21:26, 6 November 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Hello- first time user here. just a quick note on Wellpath- its founder, Gerry Boyle, was convicted of fraud (2021) and sentenced to 3 years in prison (2022). He was bribing sheriffs to secure contracts. I would put in links or somesuch, but i do not know how. but that information is pertinent to anyone in the public wondering who (if Wellpath, nee CCS) provides services in their jails or prisons, and those contracts are bid out.
thank you. terence 160.72.228.10 (talk) 13:15, 20 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]

2. Group 1 improved the article by making substantial changes in the Lead of the article. For instance, they changed the start of the Lead to state "Correct Care Solutions, now known as Wellpath" and add a citation to include the link to the Wellpath website. They also added that there were 550 centers in the country. Their edits are formatted consistently with Wikipedia’s manual of style. For example, they added a section titled "Divisions" and properly capitalized, used a noun, and avoided using an article such as "the" in front of the section title. Further improvement can be made under this section if Group 1 can elaborate upon the subheadings that are listed: "Local Detentions" and "Inpatient and Residential Treatment Facilities" which currently do not have text underneath them. 3. Group 1 did a great job editing this article. They added a plethora of information (such as a section about services offered) and included important citations as well. Their edits are also formatted consistently with Wikipedia's style and also present a neutral view. This group achieved its overall goals for improvement. The only suggestion I have is that the group suggested multiple times that the title of the article be changes from Correct Care Solutions to its new name Wellpath. For example, the new first sentence could say something like "Wellpath, formerly known as Correction Care Solutions..." This would better represent the current state of the company. 4. Group 1 made improvements such as staying up-to-date with the current changes of the healthcare company - update on the company name to Wellpath. Their edits help the overall organization and flow of the article, and align with the Guiding Framework. Their edits were substantial. They added new sections such as Divisions and Litigations & made organized statements on the purpose of the healthcare company as well as legal issues of Wellpath in the last decade. In terms of the neutrality of the verbiage and edits, they are factual for the most part. However, I propose that they edit terms like kickbacks to be more specific and give examples on what the company received in exchange for their offer. In addition, if more examples can be given on what the expectations of Wellpath were in the immigration detention centers and what policies they broke might be better than general statements that see to blame the outcome on Wellpath. 5. Group 1's edits made the Correct Care Solutions page much more organized in a logical way. I think that their addition of the various services adds clarity to that section, and that overall, valid sources were used and added. They also contributed a whole section to explain special services and subtopics within that, which is an important topic as well. I think that the group met their goals mostly when it came to what they were trying to improve in this article. In regard to possible plagiarism, I do not see any instances amongst the group's edits that alert me. A possible suggestion I do have for the group would be to expand on the "Local Detentions" and "Inpatient and Residential Treatment Facilities" subcategories that they added. I would have liked to see at least a beginning blurb or explanation to start off the sections. Also, I understand that the group tried to change the article name to Wellpath in order to be more up to date, which I agree with, but therefore I think that throughout the article, using either the name of "Wellpath" or "Correct Care Solutions" consistently when mentioning the company would be ideal.
