- ✗ Fail This article has major problems. One major reason is the lack of proper ciations. One full section is tagged for lack of citations; several other sections have paragraphs which are not inline cited. In addition, the citations that are actually used appear quite random and important coverage of Mondale are not used as reference. The article is also tagged one or two places for requiring expansion and the problem here may be wider, allthough I haven't looked deeply into this. As this article can only fullfill the Good Article criteria after a major improvement with regard to citations; and probably also with regard to expanding/rewriting content, I am going to quick fail it, and instead encourage the nominator to come back with a new nominations if/when such improvement is done.
