Page Overhaul

One mistake I saw throughout was the inconsistent spelling of "Walcott." I believe that this is the correct spelling, but there were instances throughout where "Wallcott" was used, which I corrected.

Hi DovC123, this looks good! I made a few grammatical edits. I think the following paragraphs could use some citations, even if they're repeat citations:

"In only their first year, Sabby Lewis, whose local band was at the peak of their popularity, was one of the club's regular players. Amongst the musical regulars was saxophonist Jimmy Tyler, who organized popular Sunday jam sessions attended by up and coming artists and veterans alike.

Through the 1950’s, a steady core of local musicians showcasing a variety of jazz styles frequented Wally’s Paradise. Wally welcomed known artists Fat Man Robinson, Bunny Campbell, Art Foxall, Herbie and Roland Lee, Joe Perry, Stanley Trotman, Mabel Robinson, and drummer Alan Dawson. Jazz giants Bird, Lou Donaldson, Cannonball Adderley, and Duke Ellington all played at Wally’s at least once, making the venue one of Boston’s premiere jazz arenas."

I also recommend taking a look at your tone in the Impact on the Youth section. Make sure it's encyclopedic. Let me know if you have any questions about this!

Hi Dov, I'm very impressed that you were able to find an entirely new topic to add to Wikipedia! I guess the only suggestions I have essentially reiterate what Alise wrote. I think a few more in-text citations could be helpful if you can find them. I know it's difficult as this is such a niche topic but some more in-text citations regarding the man Wally's is named after and the famous artists that have attended in the past, may be helpful. This was an interesting read about Wally's Cafe, somewhere I've always walked past but never knew about. I made a few copy edits, and left a few templates. Overall, you've adhered to the main tenets of Wikipedia style writing which includes neutral point of view and an encyclopaedic tone. I think there are some areas of the article where more in-text citations are needed, and I've left a few citation templates as well. That would be the biggest thing to look out for. I really like the article, super informative! I think you’ll need to add citations to these sentences at least-- or at least edit for tone. I had a too enjoyable time reading these sentences for the Wikipedian monotone:

“Many notable musicians cited Wally’s as the location for their first ever live performance.”

“He set out to help these students reach their musical goals by providing them with opportunities in any way he could.”

“In the mid 1990’s, Wally’s suffered from overcrowding issues, flirting with occupancy limit on an almost nightly basis.”

Also for this sentence:

“Wally accumulated a multitude of honors from the likes of the City of Boston, Commonwealth of Massachusetts, and the Berklee College of Music.”

I would like to know the awards themselves, I care less about the organizations.
