Live+7 ratings of Walker[edit]

User:YoungForever the sources being used for Live+7 ratings are published a mere day after the airing of the show. Whereas The Nielsen definition clearly says “L+7” (Live + 7 Days = Includes all playback that occurred within seven days of the live airing). Are you or some users trying to decide what Live+7 means instead of Nielsen ratings itself? Because I don't understand how you think what I said was wrong.

If you tried looking at the source used for Live+7 ratings [1] it clearly says Thursday 4/08/21 Preliminary Primetime Ratings. I don't know why it's tagged "as Finals Nationals" but it maybe referring to Live+Same day ratings which are also included. Anyway the article was published a mere day after Walker's airing. Whereas Live+7 means viewership after seven days.

I believe you can clearly note the difference and it's not possible to get a rating of seven days in one day, unless you're making estimates. LéKashmiriSocialiste (talk) 22:40, 21 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]

I said look at the bottom half which states: UPDATED 4/17/2021: What follows are the Live + Seven Day rating results for the night’s network telecasts on Thursday, April 8: Use Ctrl + F to find it. — YoungForever(talk) 22:43, 21 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]
I looked! Can you point out where it states these are the "final DVR ratings/viewership"? It doesn't say it. Also the article is published a day after airing. Here's the meaning of Live+7 Includes all playback that occurred within seven days of the live airing. LéKashmiriSocialiste (talk) 22:47, 21 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]
What parts of updated on 4/17/2021 and tagged as Final Nationals as well as listed under Final Nationals tab you do not seem to understand? You clearly do not understand how Programming Insider ratings work. — YoungForever(talk) 22:52, 21 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]
I get it now. I'm sorry I misunderstood. I presumed it was preliminary rankings for the week. I've self-reverted. Sorry for the fiasco. I'm new into TV ratings edits so mistakes happen. LéKashmiriSocialiste (talk) 22:55, 21 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Here is an example of Preliminary Primetime Ratings: [2] which is tagged as Fast Affiliates only at the top and not Final Nationals. — YoungForever(talk) 23:01, 21 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]
I get it. But I suggest you stop calling me disruptive when you were involved in reverting yourself. It's your choice who you allow on your talk page, but that doesn't mean freedom to accuse others. If I was disruptive, so are you. LéKashmiriSocialiste (talk) 23:03, 21 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]
The only one disruptive editing is you because you chose to revert repeatedly when you are clearly wrong and do not understand how Programming Insider work at all. — YoungForever(talk) 23:16, 21 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]
YF, you've reverted yourself too. And it doesn't matter who "started it". Because I was not the one who reverted first anyway. It was Kte95. Once you're involved, you're involved. If I continued to revert that would be disruptive. But Ii had no intention. Stop only blaming others and learn to take the blame yourself too if you really think I'm disruptive. You also reverted me adding 1.27 million as the DVR viewers for Walker's premiere even though per WP:COMMONSENSE, I am allowed to subtract L+SD viewers from the total viewership to gain DVR viewership figures. Was that not disruptive? You still haven't restored my edit. LéKashmiriSocialiste (talk) 23:22, 21 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Speak for yourself. I will no longer respond to your harassment. — YoungForever(talk) 23:26, 21 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Stop falsely accusing me. I never harassed you, it's just you choosing to do what you want and revert others blindly. I messaged you about you restoring Flash's preliminary ratings. I didn't want there to be a misunderstanding, which is only why I contacted you again despite you reverting me previously. Despite you not acknowledging your fault, I didn't bother you again about it. But you could have at least accepted your mistake. However I know you won't. But it's okay for you to keep warning me over the same thing again and again like Walker isn't it? That's not harassment at all. LéKashmiriSocialiste (talk) 23:34, 21 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Yet, you accused me of reverting others blindly when you are the only one doing that. Really speak for yourself. — YoungForever(talk) 23:38, 21 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]
I reverted when I misunderstood a source. However I always went back to recheck and make sure other unrelated edits weren't reverted. If they were I restored them. LéKashmiriSocialiste (talk) 23:40, 21 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]

There's no such thing as preliminary Dvr ratings. You were reverted by Youngforever because you were wiping sections of the dvr tables because you didn't understand the source. The way you continued for a short time despite the warnings could be seen as disruptive. 81.96.245.175 (talk) 23:31, 21 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]

The article said it was preliminary so I assumed so. I am new to this however and I don't always understand how TV ratings work. LéKashmiriSocialiste (talk) 23:34, 21 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]
I wouldn't worry about it, we all make mistakes. I would suggest in the future not to get into a back and forth revert situation and take to the talkpage. This would help defuse things and reach consensus if needed. If you're also looking to add dvr ratings regularly on here you should bookmark the live+7 page on Programming Insider so you know for sure the articles have the numbers you want. 81.96.245.175 (talk) 23:48, 21 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Actually I did contact Kte95 directly but I never heard back from him. After YoungForever reverted me, I contacted him soon after reverting him the first time. But I thought I was definitely correct and there's no way the other could be correct. LéKashmiriSocialiste (talk) 23:55, 21 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Walker's dialog.[edit]

I'm sorry but Walker's speech pattern makes him sound like an idiot. It's painful to watch. I was an avid fan of the original Walker Texas Ranger and am very disappointed in the way he has been portrayed in this new series. 75.191.36.26 (talk) 17:41, 2 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]
