Sunday Night Heat[edit]

That's precisely why it's relevant; Styles' work-shoot promo on RAW made that fact more in the spotlight. Also, it's been two weeks in a row now that he's hosted solo. I think it at least deserves a mention because he's the only one on the list by himself. That in itself deserves some sort of context.

I'll make you a deal; if he's still hosting by himself at the end of June, let's say, I think it would be relevant enough to not arbitrarily take down. Besides, if you're arguing nobody will care, we're talking about HEAT. It's not like it is a huge deal anyway. Nightcrawlerdcl 1:14, 13 May 2006

isn't "However, Coachman's announce partner Grisham would take Coachman's color commentator role to allow Styles to do play-by-play but Styles would also become unavailable meaning Grisham would run the show alone." good enough its to the point and it is stating everything that needs to be said --- Paulley 12:57, 14 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I'd like to know why information about the current and former announcers of HEAT "has no place" on the HEAT page. Also, I specifically pointed out that as it pertains to major wrestling promotions, not just any wrestling promotions. I would appreciate a response. Nightcrawlerdcl 4:17, 10 May 2006

well lets see because Grisham hosted it once on his own... the only reason there is mention of it cus WWE ECW-style brand is comming into existance if it wasnt for that you wouldnt have even thought about it and in about 3 months time no one will remeber or care --- Paulley 10:14, 10 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

At the moment Heat is not shown on sundays, anymore. Therefore, do not refer to it as 'Sunday Night Heat', anymore. It makes absolutely no sense, if the show is not streamed on Sundays, or at night time, for that matter. I have seen plenty of this in other articles, that is why I have brought it to my attention. I have only one question regarding Heat. Even though its about to be no longer in existence I think it would be nice to add if someone can find a "reliable source" that heat is used to entroudce new wrestlers to the fans. I myself have been to raw 3 seperate times. Heat has always been shown for 1 hour before Raw comes on the air live. Even the WWE RAW tickest show the show starting at 7:45 PM. Im going again July 14 2008 where it will be live in Raleigh NC. Everytime ive been ive seen "jobbers" and wrestlers who are needing fan support to be shown on Raw. Just as an example using the "Spirit Squad" I saw them my 2nd time at Raw during Heat. This was the so called main event for heat. They had a match against 2 wrestlers Id never heard of and they never made there debute to Raw. However the Spirit Squad did 1 month later. Any idea how we can find "facts" to put this on the main article.Jonathanmbarnes (talk) 04:36, 27 May 2008 (UTC) JMB[reply]

WWE Heat Special Episodes[edit]

It seems that this artice does Not mention a big factor, every once in a while WWE Heat airs a "Special episode", these episodes mostly take place before a RAW PPV or a PPV (Smackdown, ECW or Joint) that features a major RAW superstar. In these episodes, they are about that certain RAW superstar(s) and his opponent(s). They show footage and past matches that took place earlier in their WWE career, as well as all the footage and matches showing how that RAW superstar started and developed his feud with his enemy and/or opponent. There was a special episode for Randy Orton vs Hulk Hogan, DX, etc.

Every epidose of Heat thats exactly before a RAW PPV is a Special Episode, and episodes of Heat thats exactly before a Joint or SD! or ECW PPV that features RAW superstars feud/enemity with the other Superstars is also a special episode.

So, why isnt there any mention of this?

Caps[edit]

Is there anything to indicate that Heat was rendered in all caps in its original run? Tim Long 22:39, 4 February 2007 (UTC) thumb|WWF SUNDAY NIGHT HeAT logo (1998-2000)[reply]

Actually by the look of this picture (→) it seems like the whole thing was in caps except for the second letter in each word ("u" in Sunday, "i" in Night, and "e" in Heat) -- Paulley

[edit]

Can the person who stated in the article that "a new logo has been introduced with the difference being the letters are different color" stop writing that as the logo is the same however WWE.com has many differences for it. ---Belevsquad 08:41, 17 February 2007 (U

Whens Heat on TV?

Its not shown on TV anymore. It was on the weekends. The WWE was not drawing enough ratings to keep it running.Jonathanmbarnes (talk) 04:26, 27 May 2008 (UTC)JMB[reply]

It was on Sunday's, hence "Sunday Night". 76.110.82.251 (talk) 01:18, 5 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

coming back[edit]

any word on heat coming back since the whole ecw/raw merge got cancelled? KP317 20:01, 6 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Halftime Heat[edit]

Since Halftime Heat is coming back should Halftime Heat have a different article or remain part of this article? --HC7 19:44, 28 January 2019 (UTC)

Do you have a source that links it to this show? Anything that says it is it will be episode 514? Or is it a different linage that shares the name similar to WWE Superstars. - Galatz גאליץשיחה Talk 19:57, 28 January 2019 (UTC)[reply]
Remain here. I liken this to Starrcade (2018), which stupidly still has its own article. --JDC808 00:45, 2 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]
Based on what source? WWE has uploaded it to the "WWE Network Exclusive" category, not the "WWE Heat" category. Including it on this page is WP:OR. Your Starrcade analogy defends not breaking it out from the main Halftime Heat article. - Galatz גאליץשיחה Talk 18:07, 4 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]
Misread that this was the talk page for the WWE Heat article (had followed a link to this post), though point still stands but for the parent Halftime Heat article (as in, yesterday's special does not need its own article). --JDC808 23:56, 4 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]
Yes, I agree with that. Definitely a not needed fork. - Galatz גאליץשיחה Talk 13:51, 5 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]
