Revert of April 12, 2021[edit]

Would it be possible for my edits that Neutralhomer vandalized a few years ago to be added back? I included the fact that WJLS-FM when they moved studios have a literal cable hanging between the two buildings in order to connect their satellites together. I believe this is grounds enough to be added to their wikipedia page along with all of the other information that I learned when I toured the station's studios in April of 2021. If I have to go out and take a picture of said cable myself to use as a valid source, I will do so, but I don't think it's necessary. MINSA20 (talk) 21:30, 28 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]

@MINSA20: by accusing Neutralhomer of vandalism, you're saying his revert of your changes was malicious or random, but he supplied a rationale in his edit summary, in fact inviting you to reinstate material with sources: Just a metric ton of OR. Please only readd with third-party reliable sources. Thank you. That said, your above request makes clear that you don't realize Wikipedia requires all information to be verifiable and doesn't allow original research ("OR"). So I'm afraid neither a photo of a cable nor your word that you learned all of this on a tour of the station will cut it. In fact I find most of your additions are in this history on Tripod, which we already have as an external link, but unless Jeff Miller is a recognized expert, we can't expand the article based on citations to a blog, either; it's not a reliable source, and digging for the factoid about the FAA designation as a test case, I didn't find anything. I wasn't able to find a news report about the purchase of the station, though the FCC ownership/licensing page confirms the previous owner. However, you did provide three references in your edits, so I used those to create a small history section, although the best of them, the 80th anniversary article, was almost entirely about WJLS (AM); I plan to give that a longer history section based mainly on that source.
