Etymology[edit]
I have removed the reference to "Johann Christoph Volkamer (1644-1720), another German botanist". Linnaeus introduced the name in 1731 and cites "Io. Georg Volckameri, medici ac botanici Norimbergensis" (Commercium literarium ad rei medicae et scientiae naturalis Vol. 2). Myopic Bookworm (talk) 07:41, 7 June 2022 (UTC)
