Disgaea 3

Vic was a voice actor for the video game Disgaea 3 and it is not listed. I'm not sure what sources would be good enough to point this out. so I'll reference IMDB. [1]

Defamation lawsuit is pending an appeal

Vic is appealing the dismissal of the case, should say that on here. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 216.181.221.4 (talk) 16:30, 21 January 2020 (UTC)

They won't allow it. Wikipedia is run by SJWs and they won't allow that on here. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 12.88.104.2 (talk) 22:15, 24 February 2022 (UTC)

All of the many appeals have been turned down. --Dweller (talk) Old fashioned is the new thing! 11:15, 19 May 2023 (UTC)

...all of Vic's appeals that is. SCOTX denied it and there's nothing more he can do, but the defendants may still get a higher payout. The lower court needs to re-consider that part of the case (and only that part). --Durandal583 (talk) 19:01, 24 May 2023 (UTC)
The section about his case ends by noting that it was still marked as awaiting a motion for rehearing. That is no longer true, and hasn't been for several months. It was disposed of by an order of the SCOTX in February, after the 15 day window to request rehearing ended in January 2023 with no further motion being filed. 2600:1702:3B25:2010:254E:1D06:7D35:7805 (talk) 17:08, 29 June 2023 (UTC)

At the end of the Sexual harassment allegations section it’s said that the attempt to dismiss Vic appeal was denied by Judge Chupp whereas the source says it was the Court of Appeals in the Second Appellate District of Texas so the Article should be changed to reflect that. It should also be noted that Chupp made the ruling that was being appealed so he logically couldn’t have been involved with the appeal. 69.157.252.96 (talk) 00:32, 27 February 2020 (UTC)

Not done: please provide reliable sources that support the change you want to be made. Eggishorn (talk) (contrib) 23:42, 27 February 2020 (UTC)

This article needs to be updated with the gofundme which is now sitting at $277,760. In the "sexual harassment allegations" section, it says $236,000 which is out of date. 101.165.51.106 (talk) 14:31, 6 April 2020 (UTC)

Not done You need a media source to back up this claim and the sentence says "... raised over $236,000..." which is still technically correct. lullabying (talk) 03:17, 15 April 2020 (UTC)

The name Lemoine appears only once in the article without context. Please change "On October 24, Lemoine filed a motion to dismiss the appeal." to "On October 24, Rial's attorney J. Sean Lemoine filed a motion to dismiss the appeal." or simply remove the name all together and replace with "Rial's attorney". 21:17, 18 August 2020 (UTC)

Done to "Rial's attorney".  Ganbaruby! (Say hi!) 06:20, 19 August 2020 (UTC)

The part where the appeals dismiss was denied should return and remain. Because it’s crucial for everyone to know the case isn’t quite over yet.

Ganbaruby: The reason I removed it was because the source attributed to it was a Comicsgate affiliate that has been extremely biased in favor of Vic Mignogna. If you can find a reputable, impartial source about the appeals dismissal, you are free to reinstate that part. The Grand Delusion(Send a message) 21:36, 22 January 2021 (UTC)

live action actor?

Can someone explain to me why Vic Mignogna lists multiple live action credits as if he was participating in a fan web series? I have been two days trying to remove the term "actor" in part of that opening sentence of the article that I have edited a week after protection in pending changes, but until you explicitly reversed my edit saying that he appeared in live series action with appropriate sources and the truth is that I do not see series and movies of him, I only see web series for fans like Star Trek Continues and it is necessary to remove the first opening sentence or not, they prefer to leave it as it is until the conflict is resolved, if not I will remove that again. 148.101.32.31 (talk) 05:32, 17 April 2021 (UTC)

Thanks for the message on the talk page. I have accepted your edit to remove live-actiob from the page and will revert anyone who tries to re-add it without consulting this page first. Link20XX (talk) 03:33, 20 April 2021 (UTC)
Are you talking about when people put in "actor and voice actor"? Yes, that's redundant and should not be included, especially when it says "is a voice actor who provides voices" AngusW🐶🐶F (barksniff) 14:17, 18 June 2021 (UTC)
If you act in a self produced play on the street you are an actor. Live action is live action whether it's filmed by a random person in their back yard or a movie studio. A corporation doesn't decide who is an actor, musician, artist, etc. No corporate sponsorship is needed to be a real artist. 2600:1702:4E35:590:591D:2216:E107:F12D (talk) 19:48, 14 October 2023 (UTC)

Updates

So going on to the vic page it says the article needs to be updated and can someone who has a knowledge of the current status of the suit between vic and Funimation update the section please Kirbopher2004 (talk) 05:57, 5 May 2021 (UTC)
