Please don't delete. I would have thought that the statement that this is the publishing house set up by the ruling body of an organisation with over a billion members would suffice as an assertion of notability. Phil Bridger 00:20, 9 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

It suffices to avoid speedy deletion per A7, but it doesn't meet WP:CORP. I have changed the speedy nom to a prod, to give you a chance to work on the article. What would assert the notability of this publishing house per WP:CORP is for instance a list of books it has published. A ecis^Brievenbus 01:00, 9 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I contest the proposed deletion, because this is an obviously notable subject as an internet search with any engine will confirm. I don't have time to add sources in the next few days, but will get back to this article some time soon. I created this stub because I was disambiguating links to Vatican and found that some needed to be disambiguated to Vatican Publishing House. Phil Bridger 21:35, 9 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]
